Did you ever hear about HSE?

HSE or ussualy known as Health, Safety and Environment is term in industrial which utilizes information from hazardous habit, environment and procedure. First time announced in 1800 by Ramuzzini a.k.a Occupational Medicine Father. dead and disable by work is a common thing in that’s era specially in mining and agriculture.

By Revolution in Industry, mechanical and electrical is impacting to increasing of various hazard, illness and injury which possible to happen, chemical using too.

Based on information above than HSE was born as a sollution for Identified, Preventif and Correction for every single piece of Hazard, Illness and Ijury which possible to happen in working area.

People who work as HSE are usually called HSE OFFICER who are responsible for implementing Health, Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with government regulations and global regulations. HSE officer is representative of ministrer of labor and must have certificate of competence in HSE work field

Beside making sure the regulation is comply by employers and employees, HSE OFFICER must have a skill to make it’s being habit in daily work for everyone.

As a guidance for HSE OFFICER in their work, there are several applicable HSE standar which could implement. for International Standar is ISO 45001:2016 or OHSAS 18001:2007. in Indonesia we have a standar which listed is PP.No.50 Years.2012 about SMK3 (Safety and Health Management System). HSE Standar ussualy combined with ISO 9001 (System Management Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental).
